Sitted at the core of human heart
Are carcasses of a criminal
With cleaved thorny crown
And clawed venomous fangs
It lurks in our dark,
Dives and sucks out our sauce
Biting, chewing large chunks
Of humanity, our essence
It holds it’s victim captive, this vile creature
Has no taste for class or haste for status
But takes pride as Key holder
Of the lock that connects men in chains
Corruption serves bile to her slaves
Bribery offers her rotten flesh freely
No wonder we joy in injustice..
For our innocence are purged and our conscience crucified!
We’ve bared our souls and revealed our ugly bones
Murdered our modesty for meagre cents and currencies
We may try to cover our rotten skins
With conventional clothes called ‘tips’
But wherewithal shall we go..
When we’re forever haunted
By it’s vivid putrescence and malodorous stench
Woebegone mankind for rotting her kind!
