A thank you note to all artists, especially writers
It’s the end of the year, most of us tend to reflect, back to see our works and achievement in the outgoing year.
And yes along side achievements (if there were any) we acknowledge the pitfalls as well, the setbacks, the disappointments we face. Some of us are dissatisfied, some even become depressed!
This photo lightened me up, for what’s worth it brought with it some silver lining whatsoever that I can’t explain. The art of course is amazing, but then is the motivation, fact that it was a success after all.
Some of you might to argue that you’re not into arts for the financial rewards or gains and I respect that. But I assure you someday, the desire to be appreciated, rewarded will suffice, it’s definitely lurking somewhere just wait for it.. And that’s all I’ll say on that.
Why this post?
I know someone out there needs this, what I’m about to say; 2018 might not have happened how you’d imagined or planned. But don’t get discouraged just yet. I implore you to keep doing what you do best, do it even better now. Move the bench mark higher, set bigger goals for 2019. Like David Hockney, or maybe not exactly like his, someday your hard work will pay off, in dollars, in values and even something greater..
Yes real artists believe in something greater
